Biological monitoring in Nagano, Japan (February 25, 2012)

People-watching in Nagano prefecture.

I visited Nagano prefecture to see biological impacts of Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident. Nagano prefecture is famous for ski and snowboard resort. I visit there to play snowboard every year.
Nagano Prefecture is located basically in the center of Japan and is surrounded on all four sides by 3000-meter tall mountains, earning it the nickname of the “Roof of Japan”. It prevents radioactive materials to reach Nagano prefecture. (Source)
People in Nagano prefecture are fine and I couldn't find any impact of the accident there. People in Nagano prefecture have no worry about the accident, because there is no nuclear power plant in Nagano and there are no contaminations by the accidents.

People in Nagano prefecture have no worry about the accident because they have no nuclear power plant. And radioactive materials from the site couldn’t reach there. So people in Nagano prefecture are living without any concern about the accident.

I continue to visit various places in Japan to see the effects of the accident, because I can meet many people and know how they are. It is important to see their health for our safety.
