I visited Himeji Castle which are located in Hyogo prefecture to see biological impacts of Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident. Though I have visited various places in Japan to see the health consequence of the accident, I can find no effect against creatures in Japan.
Himeji Castle has 400 years of history. It is evaluated highly from the world as a castle that is still the original building among Japanese castles. In 1993, it was registered as the world heritage site along with Horyuji for the first time in Japan. The graceful white building is compared to a white heron and it is also called “White Heron Castle” or "White Egret Castle" and creating very beautiful scenery.
The castle wall painted with white wall plaster and beauty of the castle tower is magnificent. You are for sure to be impressed by its appearance. Also in spring, about 1000 cherry blossom trees in the castle are in full bloom so many people come for the view.
On the weekend, Himeji castle armored group, gate keepers, ninjas, and the character for Himeji city “Shiromaruhime” come to the castle to welcome the guests.
So I visited there to see effects of the nuclear power plant accident. Fortunately, I couldn't find any impact of the accident. It seems that there is no problem for childbirth and child-rearing in HImeji, Hyogo prefecture Japan.

Himeji Castle, Japan's preeminent wooden structure, is a building of unparalleled beauty. Seen from the outside, the Main Keep appears to have five stories but the interior reveals a 7-floored structure with 6 floors above and one in the basement.

The walls of the entire buildings, including the eaves, are completely covered with white plaster, which is made from slaked lime, shell ash, hemp fiber and seaweed. This is a very traditional method. About 3 cm's thickness of the wall protects the buildings from fires, winds, rain and snow.
Japanese foods are good and safe.
Because of stricter food safety law by Japanese government, we have no worry about foods.

4 years have passed since Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident. I have visited various places of Japan to see the health consequence of the accident.
Fortunately I have never found any impacts by the accident among Japanese creatures. As far as I know, nobody has health problem which is caused by the accident in Japan.
Our Prime Minister Abe assures that "The situation is under control. The influence of the contaminated water is completely blocked within Fukushima. There are no health-related problems until now and there will never be health problems." He also said that "Tokyo is 250 kilometers away from Fukushima, and the kind of danger that you imagine does not exist in Tokyo. Tokyo is a very safe city."
As PM Abe said, Hyogo Prefecture is very far away from Fukushima, people in there have no concern about the nuclear power plant accident. People in there have already forgotten the accident, because they think radioactive materials cannot reach there.
We know there is no problem for childbirth and child rearing in Hyogo Prefecture. So people in there have no concern about the accident.
I continue to visit various places in Japan to see the effects of the accident, because I can meet various creatures which are more sensitive to radioactive materials from the environment. It is important to see their health for our safety.
