The Sydney Opera House is a masterpiece of late modern architecture by Jørn Utzon that pushed architecture and engineering to new limits, and which has had an enduring influence on late 20th century architecture and beyond. The design represents an extraordinary interpretation and response to the setting in Sydney Harbour.
Today, the Sydney Opera House is one of the busiest performing arts centres in the world, each year staging up to 2500 performances and events, drawing around 1.5 million patrons, and attracting an estimated four million visitors.
The Sydney Opera House was inscribed on the World Heritage list in 2007. source

Sydney Harbour Bridge's construction was a major event in Australia's history. Its opening in 1932 was pivotal in the development of modern Sydney and a focus for national optimism in the depths of the Great Depression. The Harbour Bridge has become an enduring national icon and the subject for many of Australia’s foremost artists. It is one of the world's greatest arch bridges. Although not the longest arch span in the world, its mass and load capacity are greater than other major arch bridges, and no other bridge in Australia compares with its technical significance. The bridge was the most costly engineering achievement in modern Australia, and although more than 80 years old, has still not reached its loading capacity. source

About 5 years have passed since Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident. I have visited various places of Japan to see the health consequence of the accident.
Fortunately I have never found any impacts by the accident among Japanese creatures. As far as I know, nobody has health problem which is caused by the accident in Japan.
Our Prime Minister Abe assures that "The situation is under control. The influence of the contaminated water is completely blocked within Fukushima. There are no health-related problems until now and there will never be health problems." He also said that "Tokyo is 250 kilometers away from Fukushima, and the kind of danger that you imagine does not exist in Tokyo. Tokyo is a very safe city."
As PM Abe said, Australia is very far away from Fukushima too, Aussie have no concern about the nuclear power plant accident in Japan. They have already forgotten the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident, because they think radioactive materials cannot reach there.
We know there is no problem for childbirth and child rearing in Australia. So Australian people are living without any concern about the accident. I continue to visit various places in the world to see the effects of the accident, because I can meet various creatures which are more sensitive to radioactive materials from the environment. It is important to see their health for our safety.

SCENIC WORLD, BLUE MOUNTAINS AUSTRALIA

SCENIC WORLD, BLUE MOUNTAINS AUSTRALIA

Less than two hours from Sydney, Scenic World is renowned for providing the ultimate Blue Mountains adventure - from native birdlife and fresh air, to breathtaking views of the World Heritage-listed region including the Three Sisters, Katoomba Falls and Jamison Valley. Journey on the world's steepest incline railway, glide between clifftops on the glass-floored Skyway suspended 270 metres in the air, descend into the ancient Jamison Valley by Cableway, explore Jurassic rainforest along the 2.4 kilometres walkway - the longest boardwalk in the Southern Hemisphere.
The Greater Blue Mountains was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2000 and was one of 15 World Heritage places included in the National Heritage List on 21 May 2007.

The Blue Mountains is densely populated by oil bearing Eucalyptus trees. The atmosphere is filled with finely dispersed droplets of oil, which, in combination with dust particles and water vapour, scatter short-wave length rays of light which are predominantly blue in colour.

Great Barrier Reef, Cairns

Cairns, considered the gateway to Australia's Great Barrier Reef, which is selected as a World Heritage Site, is a city in tropical North Queensland. Once a sleepy sugar-milling town, it's now a destination for sailing, diving and snorkelling. The majestic coral structures that make up the Great Barrier Reef extend over 1,500 kilometres, and are home to the greatest variety of flora and fauna species found in any one location in the world.
The scope of the reef is magnificent, encompassing some 21,900 individual reefs and an area of 348,000 square kilometres larger than the combined total area of Ireland and the United Kingdom!
The Great Barrier Reef, now a national marine park, provides superb recreational activities such as snorkelling, diving, swimming, semi-submersibles, coral viewing and fishing, and offers a unique environment for scientific research.

I joined Sunlover Reef Cruises for Snorkelling and to see the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef. Sunlover Reef Cruises operates a fast, air-conditioned catamaran to a large pontoon (floating platform) located at pristine Moore Reef on the outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef, approximately 40km from Cairns.
