Biological monitoring at Botan Park of Ueno Toshogu shrine in Tokyo, Japan
I visited Botan Park to see biological impacts of Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident. “Botan” means Peony in Japanese. I could see various kinds of flowers as well as peony which were cultivated in Tokyo. Generally speaking, growths of plants are faster than human beings, so they are more sensitive to radioactive materials of the environment than us. Fortunately, they are fine and beautiful. I couldn't find any impact of the accident. People in Tokyo have no worry about the accident, because air and water of Tokyo is clean and there is no nuclear power plant in Tokyo.

I could see other various flowers too.
Japanese meats as well as vegetables are good.
The giant panda of Ueno Zoo eats Japanese bamboo cultivated in Shizuoka prefecture.

People in Tokyo have no worry about the accident
because Tokyo have no nuclear power plant. And radioactive materials from the
site couldn’t reach here. So People in Tokyo are living without any concern
about the accident.
I continue to visit various places in Japan to see the effects of the
accident, because I can see many creatures which are sensitive
to radioactive materials from the environment. It is important to see their
health for our safety.
