 Biological monitoring at Ueno Zoological Gardens

福島第一原発事故による影響を見るため、様々な動物たちがいる上野動物園に行ってきた。幸いにも原発事故による影響は見られず、上野動物園の動物たちは相変わらず元気だった。東京で生きている様々な動物は、東京が安全かどうかを教えてくれる。

I have visited Ueno Zoological Gardens many times every year. Because there are various animals in the Zoo and it is fun to see them. Ueno Zoological Gardens is the oldest and biggest zoo in Japan.  So I went there to see effects of Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant accident. I think it is important to see creatures of Tokyo, because they teach us the environmental health.

I saw TOKYO SKYTREE from Shinobazu pond.

ハスの下にコイが泳ぐ

There are many carps under the lotus.

I saw the hawk at the pond.

 However severe contamination is occurred in a part of Fukushima prefecture and Japan bans the entry of a part of the prefecture, traveling to Japan is safe and everyone can enjoy staying in Tokyo.
