Biological monitoring in Kyoto (September 26, 2013)

Biological monitoring at KYOTO AQUARIUM

I visited KYOTO AQUARIUM to see biological impacts of Fukushima No.1 nuclear power plant accident. Though I have visited various places in Japan to see the health consequence of the accident, I have never found any effect against creatures in Japan.
Kyoto Prefecture is a sightseeing center where people worldwide return time and time again. From the end of the Nara Period (794), Kyoto has functioned as the crossroads of Japanese history. From its beginnings as the Kunikyo and Nagaokakyo settlements until the Emperor moved to Tokyo, it was the capital of Japan for over 1000 years. Even today, Kyoto is the cultural center of Japan, and continues to be loved by Japanese and people of the world alike.
KYOTO AQUARIUM is an entirely new kind of aquarium, where visitors can have fun while developing a new appreciation for the profound connection between water and life.
So I visited KYOTO AQUARIUM to see effects of the accident against marine creatures which are grown up by Japanese food and water.
Fortunately, I could see them grown up safely and I couldn't find any impact of the accident. It seems that there is no problem for childbirth and child-rearing in Kyoto Japan.

The 17 properties of the World Heritage Sites

The 17 properties of the World Heritage Sites are located in Kyoto Prefecture. These heritage sites are attracting many people since each embodies a respective era in which it was constructed.

2 and half years have passed since Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident. I have visited various places of Japan to see the health consequence of the accident.

Fortunately I have never found any impacts by the accident among Japanese creatures. As far as I know, nobody has health problem which is caused by the accident in Japan.

Our Prime Minister Abe assures that "the situation is under control" and "there will never be health problems."

As Kyoto is very far away from Fukushima nuclear power plant, people in Kyoto have no concern about the nuclear power plant accident. People in Kyoto have already forgotten the accident, because it is very far away from the site and radioactive materials cannot reach there.

We know there is no problem for child birth and child rearing in Kyoto. So people in Kyoto are living without any concern about the accident.

I continue to visit various places in Japan to see the effects of the accident, because I can meet various creatures which are more sensitive to radioactive materials from the environment. It is important to see their health for our safety.

Biological monitoring in Tokyo (September 19, 2013)

Biological monitoring at Tokyo Metropolitan Park

I visited Tokyo Metropolitan Park to see biological impacts of Fukushima No.1 nuclear power plant accident. Though I have visited various places in Japan to see the health consequence of the accident, I have never found any effect against creatures in Japan.

Our prime minister said that Tokyo is 250 kilometers away from Fukushima, and the kind of danger that you imagine does not exist in Tokyo. The government has announced that it takes responsibility in addressing water, food and air. A project has been launched and there are no concerns. Exactly Tokyo is a very safe city.

This summer we could see various insects at Tokyo Metropolitan Park. As Japanese boys like bug hunting, we often see them collecting various bugs at every park. Especially they want to hunt beetles or stag beetles. Generally speaking, bug's growth is so fast than human beings that they are more sensitive to radioactive materials of the environment than us.

So I visited a park to see effects of the accident against bugs which are grown up in Japan.
Fortunately, I could see them grown up safely and I couldn't find any impact of the accident. It seems that there is no problem for childbirth and child-rearing in Tokyo Japan.

I think this beetle belongs to another species.

This beetle is familiar to us.

I compered the small beetle with large one.
They have no deformity. They may be different species.

Sometimes we can find small beetle in Japan.
I have heard about such small beetles even before nuclear power plant accident.
So I think this small beetle has no relation to the accident.

This cicada is casting off the shell.
I could not find any deformity and abnormality caused by the accident.

Biological monitoring in Kumamoto (September 11, 2013)

Biological monitoring in Kumamoto (September 3, 2013)

I visited Kumamoto prefecture to see effects of Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant accident. Though I have visited various places in Japan to see the health consequence of the accident, I have never found any effect against creatures in Japan.
Kumamoto prefecture is located in "Kyushu" which is southernmost of the four main islands of Japan. Kumamoto is very away from Fukushima, and the kind of danger that you imagine does not exist in Kumamoto.

Japanese think that foods of Kyushu have never contaminated by radioactive materials by the accident. So Kyushu grown foods such as, vegetables, fruits, meets, fish and so on are widely consumed by Japanese.
So I think it is important to see creatures of Kyushu for the food safety.

Kyushu is very far from the Fukushima Daiiti nuclear power plant, and Japanese believe that foods of Kyushu are safe. Its products are so widely consumed in Japan that it is very important to observe creatures of non-contaminated area such as Kyushu.
